Fried Chicken Necks
Judge me guilty this Fried Chicken Neck. I admit and I know how high in cholesterol this is but hey, forgive me again! I love its crispiness and juiciness. Fried Chicken Neck is a good chicken dish if you wanted to eat chicken but ran out of budget.
So to make it even, serve them with vegetables. Just be careful to munch only 2 or 3 Fried Chicken Necks. You might find yourself later hypertensive. I hope not because I can eat about 5-7 necks.
1 kilo chicken neck
cooking oil for deep frying
Combine the following for Fried Chicken Neck Breading:
2 cups flour
1 tsp. iodized salt
1 tsp. pepper
Wash chicken neck thoroughly in running water.
Heat cooking oil in a frying pan. Roll one chicken neck in the seasoned flour. Shake off the excess. Slip the breaded chicken neck up into the hot oil. Do this with the rest of the chicken. Do not over load the pan. Leave some spaces between each chicken necks. Fry until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes. Turn the chicken neck with metal thongs and continue frying until crisp and golden on all sides about 4-5 minutes. Place on a wire rack or kitchen paper to drain excess oil.
