We will be welcoming a new member of the family 8 months from now! Yes, I am a month pregnant and I am excited again for our new baby! And to mark this day with a celebration, I baked Pound Cake to share with family and some friends.
Pound cake is a light cake with delicate crumbs. A very simple cake to bake which remains as one of the amateur bakers’ best pleasure – nobody commits mistake with Pound...

Feeding our kids with something healthier like vegetables and fruits is usually a fight scenario at homes and is such a hopeless mom’s mission to accomplish. Moms, like I, do some crazy ideas just to nosh my 3 year old son, Colby, with peas, broccoli or anything green like a spoon pretends to be an airplane to land on his tongue or hide bits of carrots under rice. Although lately, Colby seems to liken...

I know I have already posted a number of cookie recipes here in my blog. But yesterday my co-workers, who checked my blog for the first time, were teasing me for not having tasted any of my baked goodies yet, so, I made the easiest and quickest cookie recipe for them. I made them last night – my preparation time was about 20 minutes and baking time was just only 15 minutes. And the cookies were ready!

One of the things I like about working in an educational institution is having a frequent FREE food tasting from students of Hotel and Restaurant Management and Nursing Nutrition class. I always ask for the recipes they make if a meal gets my palate’s interest. I have been enjoying this treat for 5 years now since I got the job in the school. I have collected a good number of recipes from international...

But it was raining hard because of the typhoon “Isang” so we both just stayed at home and watched Sesame Street video… until we got bored. So I thought of something to cook that Colby might join in and enjoy. And, we made this really...

I have previously posted my Choco Banana Muffins but i still wanted to do another entry with this new Banana Bread recipe I got from Bread Machines for Dummies Book which i borrowed from Candy along with her Sunbeam Bread Machine. I haven’t started with the bread machine though because I still need a transformer to convert the electrical current supply. I couldnt wait for the bread machine to work any...

This recipe has been passed to me by Tita Beulah, which is passed to her by Ate Au, which is passed to her by Ate Clem, which is passed to her by a friend, which she got from training. Well, doesn’t matter who owns this recipe I guess. What matter is that this awesome dessert you gotta try.
Now get your mixing bowl, spatula and these ingredients for Choco Oatmeal Bar:
2 1/2 cups oatmeal
2 eggs
2 1/2 cups...

I was thrilled to have been visited by members from our Church who shared an inspiring message to my family. I thought it was a special day not only because they visited us for the first time since we moved to Bonuan but that day was also Father’s Day. And to mark that special occasion, I cooked my all time favorite Spaghetti and baked a pan of Brownies. Again, spaghetti and brownies didn’t had a luck...
